Gerbera

A gerbera is an ornamental plant from the sunflower family, Asteraceae
At Emily's home: When we first got this plant the Galahs pulled the bulbs out of the pot. When Mum found out she was full of fury. After we put a net over them and put some stuff that birds hate on them. It also made the flowers grow at the same time. When we found that the plant had flowered, Mum was as happy as happy could be.

Money Plant

Money Plant
Scindapsus aureus: It is called the money plant simply because it has round, plump, flat leaves that might, with a bit of imagination, look like a coin! This plant is both indoor and outdoor plant. too. At number of places we have this plant placed in our school. My mother says that if the plant grows well it’s a sign that wealth will come to the family.
