Money Plant

Money Plant
Scindapsus aureus: It is called the money plant simply because it has round, plump, flat leaves that might, with a bit of imagination, look like a coin! This plant is both indoor and outdoor plant. too. At number of places we have this plant placed in our school. My mother says that if the plant grows well it’s a sign that wealth will come to the family.

  1. Dear Daniyal
My sister has one of these plants indoors and a row of them outdoors. Isn't it wonderful? I think the magic has already worked on my sister!

  2. Hi Daniyal,
Do you think that if we added a little magic to the plant it would grow money?!. My nan used to have a lot of these plants at her house along her front verandah.

  3. Hi Daniyal
This plant and your story about the money plant reminds me of my dad. He told me a story about when he got twenty cents and buried it in the ground! He was about four years old. He wanted money to grow from the tree. He didn't know that money doesn't grow on trees!

I don't think it does grow money, but if it was real it would be interesting and fun picking the trees all day for money! I like the name 'money plant' though.;]
